We have just released a new EITO Special Report including very up-to-date ICT market analyses presenting revised forecasts for 2008 and 2009. European high-tech market shows resilience despite economic crisis
Due to the financial crisis and the deteriorating economic outlook, we had to decrease many our forecasts for 2009. In contrast to many other industry secors, the ICT industry is still growing. In Western Europe IT revenues are expected to grow by 2.0 percent in 2009 to a total of € 314.5 billion. The previous EITO forecast was 4.0 percent.
